Groups enable clients to form bonds with each other in a structured environment that enables them to discuss feelings and ideas
openly. They also help them to understand that their concerns are not unique to them and specifically with children that there is nothing wrong with them. Group discussions assist clients in coming to appreciate that others share their problems, fears, worries, and the like.
