Bliss Counseling Services will work with parents in a supportive environment and provide encouragement to help our clients navigate through parenting challenges.

We will provide psycho-educational material, skills, and tools to address behaviors that will equip you as you work through parenting challenges.

Group Therapy

Groups enable clients to form bonds with each other in a structured environment that enables them to discuss feelings and ideas openly.

They also help them to understand that their concerns are not unique to them and specifically with children that there is nothing wrong with them.

Group discussions assist clients in coming to appreciate that others share their problems, fears, worries, and the like.

Assessments

Include a comprehensive Bio-psychosocial assessment and treatment plan.

Referrals for outside psychological testing by a licensed Psychologist and medication management services by a licensed APRN are also available.

Mentoring

Bliss Counseling Services will provide mentoring in the area of role modeling, career, and education.

Referrals will also be made to agencies that promote and or are licensed to provide mentoring services.

"No Rule book. No time frame. No Judgement. Grief is as individual as a fingerprint. Do what is right for your soul."

Art Therapy

"Art therapy is a mental health profession utilizing art media, the creative process, and the resulting artwork to explore feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behaviors, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce, anxiety, and increase self-esteem".

As a licensed clinical social worker, I use art as an intervention to explore feelings of expression with the goal of achieving positive outcomes.
